final double page spread

having only made one double page spread before this one i was pretty inexperienced going in to makeing it, but i think i pulled it off pretty well i thre alot of things in there which i had noticed in other magazines but i added my own twist to them all.

FINAL CONTENTS PAGE

This is my final contents page.i decided to ask my class mates which of the contents pages i had done the prefered and they chose the metallica one .. so i took the metallica template and like i said i would i imported my own images and changed a few things.

my final front cover

With my final front cover i took everything i had learned from my feed back from my other covers and added it with my own images the image of the amp is a cropped image of the head of my amp. i also added faded dark grey rectangles behind all the headlines in order to make them stand out more. i moved my bar code to under the title because it did not look right down in the corner when i added the image of my amp, i also added price and issue number to my cover.

just a few more mocks to go before i upload my finale

now i will look at a couple of contents pages in order to get my inspiration for mine.

i chose metal hammer because it has the main idea i have with one image and headlines about tht particular band which is unconventional but i think works incredibly well.

NME was a big inspiration because it is a music magazine which pretty much covers most music and that is something i wanted to do with mine. and again the front cover isnt incredibly busy.

Q inspred me because it is a very distinguishable magazine dispite that the logo is up in the corner. and has minimul amount of images and features on the cover which is something i wanted to do. again as i did with the kerrang posts i will post a couple of these.

i chose kerrang as my inspiration because it is the typical rock music magazine. and also vey easy to recognise even when the title is near enough covered. i will upload a couple more kerrang magazines which inspired my magazines.
